TANG & TANGO

TANG & TANGO was a group exhibition organised by Kunstforum Viborg in SKALMA in Skals, Denmark. SKALMA used to be a textile factory, creating furniture textiles out of tang aka seagrass, harvested out of the nearby fjord.

I was able to create an exhibition within the TANG & TANGO exhibition. Here I presented a selection of textile works and drawings that all show different fragments of the emotions a person can go through when one leaves friends, language and home for a new start in another country.

Among them were the HELP series, Soundweaves, On Repeat and Ambigram.
